My son, 15, has been using the Moria Nova hand for a month. He is 2 years post stroke. He says he is more aware of his affected hand and has less tightness. We have seen a little movement in his fingers, very little. We hope as we continue the work he will have more gains in function.

The Motus Nova Hand Mentor has been extremely beneficial in my stroke recovery. I’ve started performing tasks with my right hand that I was previously unable to accomplish.I’m starting to develop a new enthusiasm for rehab .The hand mentor actually challenges me like nothing else has. The games make the challenge of therapy fun and helps keep me focused on improving.The device was easy to unbox and set up in just a few steps. The device itself is amazing in the way it senses the smallest of movement. The technology in this robotic device is amazing and so far I’m impressed .I have high hopes that I’ll continue to progress with continued use.The staff at Motus Nova is knowledgeable and proactive.

Since I started using the Motus Hand I have more movement in my hand and less spasticity. I also noticed that I am unconsciously trying to use my affected hand more since starting the Motus hand! At 3+ years post stroke I kind of stopped trying to use it. Since I am not able to easily get out it’s great to have therapy at home. The games are engaging and you can get an updated report every time. Customer service is great as well.

My 17 year old daughter had a stroke on December 24, 2020. She still has some challenges moving her right foot. We received the Motus Nova foot rehab machine on December 24, 2021. It has been a great experience for her. She uses the Motus Nova machine for about an hour a day and it has improved the range of motion and use of her foot. We had a consultation with the doctor and he adjusted the software and program based on her needs and goals. Overall we have had a great experience.

Five years post stroke Marianna has a new best friend, the Motus Nova MoBot. She enjoys every minute on the Hand Mentor. After only 30 hours her hand is totally relaxed, all day long. Still no active control, but gone are the hours with a clenched hand and arm.

I received the Motus Nova hand mentor for my mother a month ago. She had a stroke in early 2021 which impacted the right side of her body and was looking for more hand therapy. She has really enjoyed working with the Hand Mentor and is starting to recognize her right palm when the Motus Nova stretches her wrist. Additionally, the games keep her interested and excited to stay engaged with the therapy. She does about an hour each day and genuinely looks forward to it. We also like all the data we get from the reports (pictures below) which let us track progress. Would recommend this product as both replacement and supplement for therapy currently being received.

I started using the modus nova on Oct 25, 2021. After a stroke in early 2020, I lost use of my left arm and have been looking for an alternative therapy to activate my arm again. I’m hopeful that this robotic device will help me regain some use of my hand and arm.Update on my review:The staff at Motus Nova is very supportive and encouraging. I had a problem with my device and it was rectified with the help of a caring and proactive team. I am motivated to improve progress with my arm and hand in the next 30 days.

This has helped me a lot. I monitor not only my repetitions but the increase in range. Not only is it helping me after my stroke, the methodology of using games keeps your interest piqued and you become competitive with scoring! I also get a feeling of overall well being and am motivated. I have no doubt that I will continue to have success.

I received Motus novena 2 weeks ago and after 5 strokes post 4 years for the first time I’ve been able to feel my extensors start moving. Their customer service is absolutely the most Receptive and kind staff I’ve ever worked with before all review prom customers are promoted by gifting the patient/customer free rental time thus, no bad reviews when the machine actually Performed as it should I start to see a little improvement but I was replaced with for Motus novas for the hand I know which works

My husband is using the Motus Nova hand and foot mentor. They have both been great for him. The Hand Mentor took him from extremely spastic to very limber. He is continuing to use it and hopes to see even more improvement. He just got the Foot Mentor 12 days ago and he has already done over 31 hours of therapy. His leg was very stiff and difficult to move and now it bends easily. He can’t wait to see what happens over the next few weeks because it is helping his foot drop issues as well. These devices are helping so much physically and mentally for him. They are worth every penny for what they do to help people feel better and become more independent.

I have been using this machine from last 30 days and see some improvement. I am able to extend my arm little bit. Hand device is little hard to.put on and material can be soft to give comfort and could be little bit lighter in weight. Impressive engineered design!

I have used the Motus hand for about 40 hours in last 30 days. Overall it is well researched and designed for physical therapy. The initial instructions could be better, including the need to have an evaluation done BEFORE a week of therapy and a list of contact names and numbers. I have noticed a little more mobility in my left hand and arm and am hoping to gain more over the next couple months. There are plenty of videos out there so you can see it in action. Give it a try!

I completed the 30 day motos Nova challenge, completing over 30 hours of therapy. I wanted to gain more control over my left hand. My main goal was to be able to pick a utensil off of a table. After completing this challenge I am able to lift the utensil off of the table on my own. The therapy games were a fun and interesting way to build strength in my hand.

I have been using motus nova hand mentor for about a month now, and my hours were limited because I couldn’t put the hand mentor on myself. If I had been able to I would be a lot farther along, but I’m able to put it on myself, so I will be be able to have faster progress. Overall it’s quite user friendly and I do notice my wrist and hand seems to feel stronger and I have a lot more to do. I am definitely excited to see how much more using it will help improve my wrist. I do recommend using this as a rehabilitation after a stroke. I think I will get the ankle mentor when I can afford it.

I received the Motus Hand 3 weeks ago 1 week after placing my order. I was initially and remain impressed by the thought that went into deploying the device in home. The Motus Hand was very well packed and took less than 5 minutes from unpacking to startup. I have since taken the Motus Hand with me to rehab and a weekend getaway and it is so easy to return it safely to its box and nearly effortless to unpack and begin my session. The Motus Hand is a bit complicated to put on initially but as I do it each day it gets easier and faster to put on myself. I was able to complete an assessment with Dr. Nick Housely one week after receiving the Hand Mentor. He was able to adjust my therapy settings to optimize my therapy and removed a game a didn't enjoy while adding time to my favorite ones. He was also able to answer the questions I had about using the Hand Mentor and sent me a video answering every question in detail. I have not had the Motus Hand long enough to notice any changes nor would I expect to see any changes after such a short period of time. I have had a little difficulty with some of the settings but after I got connected to technical support, Eric and Luke were very responsive and solved my issues. I wish there were a way to turn off the music while retaining game sounds but this is a very minor concern. I will keep using the Motus Hand daily and hope that I will improve my wrist motion!

This is revolutionary!! Stroke recovery technology has really come a long way. I am excited for everyone who is going to give this a try. It’s not a miracle machine - it’s something you gotta really put your time into. You don’t have to wait for a therapist to help you and give the same type of workouts in. Why watch TV all day when you can do rehab at home instead?

The time saved by not going to the physical therapy clinic alone makes the Motus Hand worth it. Having a stroke can negatively impact every aspect of your life, Motus makes a large part of getting better a lot more convenient. Stroke recovery is not easy but this helps a lot! Fantastic product! I’ve only had the hand mentor for about 2 weeks now and i can already see improvements. Just the other day I was about to feed myself ice cream from a cup using my hands. In addition to that, I noticed my affected arm is able to become much straighter than prior to my use with The Motus Hand. I couldn’t be happier. :)Beyond that, I’m very happy and astonished by how great the Motus Nova support team is!
